SHIELD™ Hard Base is a hard, long-lasting base coat that lasts up to 28 days. It allows you to create nail extensions up to 2 mm.

The formula has a solid gel -like texture that will not break even on long, soft nails. It holds its shape for as long as it is used.

SHIELD™ Hard Base has a thick consistency that does not drip or run into the cuticles. It is self-leveling and allows you to build a perfect nail shape with a very smooth surface.

SHIELD™ Hard Base is free of HEMA, so it is less likely to create itching and skin redness than glazes containing HEMA.

SHIELD™ Hard Base cures in LED, UV/LED and UV lamps.

USE

SHIELD™ Hard Base can only be used as a construction base.

Application: prepare the nail surface and apply a thin layer of SHIELD™ Hard Base. Without lamp curing, proceed with applying a thicker layer to create a nail apex. If necessary, create extensions up to 2 mm or repair the nail. Cure for 30 seconds in LED or UV/LED lamp, or for 90 seconds in UV lamp. Proceed with application of the SHIELD™ color and the Top Coat SHIELD™ of your choice.

Removal: file until completely removed. Alternatively, file off most of the material, then remove it with a pack in Remover acetone-based, such as Red Lizard, until completely removed.
